I called in sick today. I never (ok, rarely ever) call in sick.
Feel better soon!
I'm just hanging out, really.

Gift week is not enough.
I have to be at a district department meeting tomorrow. I went to check out the video stash of one of my colleagues. She had the Spanish version of Rudolph on video tape! Fortunately, I have a combo DVD/Video player in my room. So, my Life Skills Spanish students will be watching Rudolph in Spanish and writing down any Spanish words that they recognize. I wonder what they will be able to pick up. . .we did finish body part recently. They should be able to hear quite a number of things. I listened to it earlier today and was able to pick up quite a bit, but these are trained ears here!
So, refresh my memory: was there always color to Rudolph? I know the original came out in 1964. I just can't remember. . . I haven't watched it in quite a while. It's always been on a bad night for me over the past few years. I really enjoyed watching it tonight.

That might be it: the B&W TV! Even if it was in color, we wouldn't have known it! I'm afraid that I have a few years on Rudolph.

The HD version gets rid of lots if the graininess. So it was extra fun. Nariz rojo.
It was a whole lot more clear, making it a lot of fun and bringing back a bunch of memories. . .roja, btw. But you got the order.

Granted, with all my whining over the past couple of days, you could say the same about me.
How are you feeling today?
Oh, BTW, do you have any contact info for penguin? If you do, please PM me. Thanks!
