I bought their zin 6 pack and enjoyed it. Was definitely a jammy very fruity zin that did well with aeration and a just a bit of chilling. Still have one left. Would like to see a rat report on this cab though - if the zin is representative of their wines I would expect this to be more of a "chewy" cab... but that may be a stretch to make that assumption. At that price it's hard not to hit the big button now. And personally: I like the 6 packs and mixed cases - usually turns out to be cheaper and when you are on a budget that's vury vury nice

chipgreen wrote:Cheaper than what? 6 bottles are not cheaper than 4. If you're suggesting that the price per bottle is less, how would anyone know that? It's just speculation since there's no 4 bottle offer to compare it to.
I suppose 6-packs of inexpensive wines are great if you drink a bottle a night like my sister does but I'd like to think that most of us aren't here looking for the wine equivalent of a 12-pack of PBR.
me = broke college student working on my second degree = no money, but still was brought up drinking good wine - wine that is now miles outside of my price range. (also live in Colorado = good beer only for me -yay!).
My statement was based purely on the observation that when wine woot sells by 4 and 3 packs they are, generally speaking, pricier per bottle than when they sell 6 packs (mixed cases tend to vary fairly widely, I have noticed). However, I am but a novice wooter therefore my experience is limited - guess I should have included that, my apologies. And you make a very valid point - with not having these wines also sold in smaller amounts we have nothing to compare the price to except for winery posted prices and store prices. So observation only on my end

OH...By the way......
What the heck is wrong with PBR?
Jest saying.....geez
It is well to remember that there are five reasons for drinking wine: the arrival of a friend; one's present or future thirst; the excellence of the wine; or any other reason.
