Actually, it does matter. Many of us have done experiments with different glasses. The consensus is that glasses absolutely make a difference.

I can't wait for buyer remorse to set in when 500 people realize when 12oz of wine for $11/each hits them. It's the same feeling you get when you are in Europe and you pay 3 Euros for a can of Diet Coke (about $4.20 US)
Each of you will have to go buy yourselves a 5 liter box of Zinfandel for $15 just to redeem yourselves. No-one sips sweet wine, it's like Lay's potatoes chips.
