But I doubt you will get one, Grasshopper.

i hate hate hate Jatravartid warping people that do Jatravartid warping things that warp everything up just because they don't like someone.

At work, there's person A and B. they hate each other, both run different projects. Person A has a need that B can fill. If person B fills the need it's a super win because of B's ability to then pay off a loan on B's project (A's project is federally and state funded costing us only 4 dollars) But since A hates B, A has decided to attempt to go a different way that saves us 6 dollars for A's project but costs us a Battlefield Earth (2000) ton in interest on B's project as the loan is ongoing. Essentially leading to an Epic FAIL. Wouldn't you spend 6 bucks to make 20? Basically, we're warping ourselves because A and B despise each other. Though in fairness, everyone hates an A.

obviously, 4 bucks is not the real number.

I'm up in the Bay Area (SF) and I believe you're in SoCal so it looks like that's an opportunity missed. I'm really looking forward to seeing your review, though- being able to compare the vintages should be really interesting. I'd imagine the blending grape will be different so it will be cool to see how that shapes the wine.

We pretty much always do label shots (both front & back), plus confirm the varietals and vintage.

It'll be in the main thread, once it's up. But for both of us, it will be later tomorrow, since neither of us will try it tonight.

Damn it, rpm too! It must be a special bottle.. or the woot cellars! I'd been hoping for a Buena Vista, but now it's Kyle who's going to get the special honours! I emailed him as soon as I posted my first notice about not being here.

Still I'm happy I managed to get my first rattage EVER. Even if I end up unable to drink it But since I managed to hand it off to another decent rat, I hope next time I'm available (I'll tell them) they will be nice enough to try me again.

Thing is, I also emailed back saying I couldn't make it, so if the wootgods managed to get it in time before posting, perhaps mine got sent to rpm instead...

I've never been ratted, but having been beneficiary of many fine things woot, it's not a big deal, esp. since I'm not sure I'd make a great rat anyway. I have the "secret" bottle in my possession and am chilling it a bit. I like the label, and I'll start taking some photos for you guys to post right at midnight. I probably won't open it for another few hours yet.

Did Woot Cellars used to hide the winery info? The winery info is not hidden on this bottle, but I shall keep it a secret until later.

Because Woot is now owned by Amazon, the legal crap due to them now requires that the producer be printed on the label.

IIRC, something about them being scared of wine.woot being somehow seen as a wine retailer rather than a venue for wineries to sell directly. It was more fun when we had to guess
