Tasted by Aspenhawk on 2/13/2012 & rated 91 points: this is a great $27 cabernet... Full body. definite berry flavors in the mouth with a bit of vanilla on the end. Just the right amount of tannins to give a smooth finish. Drinking really well right now. (369 views)
Tasted by hr3 on 2/11/2012 & rated 90 points: Nice but nothing spectacular, red fruits and a little cedar. (367 views)
On the fence.
you may be looking at the wrong Cab, because CT's a mess on GB. It's the Estate Cab
it's good. I refused it at $40 but at $25 it's great.. I got the 08 from wineshopper last month when it came up.
If anyone gets some and wants a mini vertical. I'm happy to swap some 08 for 07 so er both have verticals. California's pretty reliable and 08 was good for Cabs too.. the 08 and 07 both have good points / reviews.

Tasted by *Vine* on 2/19/2012: Popped and poured. Medium-plus black cherry hue. Upon first pour, a nice aromatic profile of tar and tobacco shows first. With a bit more air, black and red fruits show and are complimented by nice notes of mint, earth, and just a touch of oak. Medium-plus body. On the palate, this shows similar to the nose, with cherry, currant, herbs, and a subtle spice from oak. Overall, quite youthful and classically Sonoma in that it needs to rest for a few years before becoming more accessible, with tannins a touch astringent on the moderate close. Very nice and will be especially appreciated by those who enjoy the style. (465 views) - report issue | favorite author
Tasted by DollarMenunaire on 2/17/2012 & rated 90 points: I liked this. An unusual style for California that reminded me of a riper vintage of a Medoc upon opening. Red and blue fruits, roasted sage, cigar box. A couple hours of air took it more to the new world and muted the earthier tones. But an elegantly restrained and unexpected Cabernet overall. Tasted by Gandrews on 1/27/2012 & rated 89 points: This bottle needs to be decanted for 30mins or more before drinking. Good overall flavors but a touch light for a cab. This is a good 25-30 dollar bottle. (659 views) - report issue | favorite author

Tasted by merryberry on 1/22/2011 & rated 88 points: TR. Tight nose of blackberry currants, bramble, and cedar. Medium to full bodied, rich blueberries, black cherries, leather, black pepper, integrated tannins, and an almost long finish. Nicely done. (2033 views) - report issue
