From the Moon Mountain website;

The property was sold in January. It is now privately held. The goal is to bring a very long-term perspective and to reinvigorate the property to produce the absolutely best possible wine. It is a major undertaking and will take time, but we look forward to sharing the results with you.

The winery is no longer producing wines with the label Moon Mountain. Ultimately, there will be a new brand for the wines which are being made by Erich Bradley, a native Sonoman, a protégée of Richard Arrowood, and the recipient of Robert Parker and The Wine Spectator's top honors for his work at Sojourn Cellars and Audelssa Estate.

Former Woot wine up on wineshopper:

Davis Family Vineyards Pinot Noir "Soul Patch" 2008 - $30

I'm considering this, but can anyone that got the 4 pack comment on the difference between this and the Horseshoe Bend PN? I picked up some of the HB at the tasting room, but couldn't find my notes to see how they compare.

Also, they've got the Gun Bun 2008 Estate Cab Sauv for $25. Haven't had anything from GB, but it seems like there are some fans here. Thought I'd appeal to the collective wisdom of the board (only 1 note on CT and it's not good).

mmmm, that's a nice cab. never seen it on offer: might have to get some.

For Davis' Soul Patch v other PNs princeofpinot may make for an enlightening link. Looks richer, riper like what an American palate might want from RRV. I hae't tried Davis' PN yet. Let us know your analysis!

Roessler Cellars Laurelwood, Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2009 on WTSO for 20.99

I didn't realize they even made a Willamette Pinot. Anyone had this one? Just noticed WTSO claims it is a winery exclusive.

I had the 07. Good for that price; expensive at the winery price.

The only thing I know about it is that my wife (bahwm) received an unsolicited email from our wine enthusiast, and very knowledgeable, friend in Spain, saying it was a great deal. I don't even know how he learned about invino, but I know he wouldn't have sent that message if it weren't a wine worth drinking, especially at that price.
Meanwhile over on Let's Pour, there's an intriguing offer on a Cab/Syrah/Cab Franc blend from Washington called Sandra. I just finished reading an extensive article chronicling the winemaker's life story, and it's really interesting. The wine get's 90's from everyone on Cellartracker. For 20 or 25 bucks, depending on whether you have any credits to use, it looks like a good deal. Anyone know anything about that one? It's the '06 vintage.
EDIT: Free shipping with 3. I can send an invite if anyone needs one.

Perhaps better price, but for me, and including shipping, only $1 difference. Like the label.

Was offering it really more to compare the site -- LetsPour -- on relative pricing on their deals. Looking this morning (http://www.letspour.com/deals), I see 2008 Dunham Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon XIV listed for retail price of $63, with their price of $50 -- simple search on Wine Searcher finds it for $32.63 at wineclicker (http://www.wineclicker.com/items/detail?itemid=443956).

I understand that price is not the only factor in making an online or offline purchase, but when a site offers me something it describes as 'a deal' I do expect the price to be at least competitive with what I can find elsewhere online, and preferably less.
