I got in on some of their specials (06Merlot, 06Claret, 06CS, 07Sempre Per Sorelle, 06Syrah, 06Tal Padre)back in November and December. At these prices, they make great everyday drinkers. You can't lose.

Thinking this might be a good idea for me to get. After all, I still have at least one bottle I need to buy from them soon (to use up the $70 (for $27) Eversave.com voucher I had gotten. And since the last purchase I got cost me $12.50 in shipping for a single bottle, all I would have to do is make at least one more purchase in the next year to make it worthwhile.
I had planned on never buying from Wine.com again after using this last voucher because of their shipping costs and not being able to combine vouchers, but if another couple voucher deals show up within the next year for them, I could do them without the worry of the shipping.

I wonder if I can use my voucher for the coupon

Donati currently has a 2007 Sorelle Per Sempre - Case Special for $85. They have increased their shipping costs from $26 to $36 though.

...Relocated from Vouchers...

Does anyone have any experience with the De La Montanya Cabernet/Syrah Rosé that's on Lot 18? I've not been a Rosé drinker (though I did enjoy SH's Jana Rosé), but the Cab/syrah looks interesting. There are no comments on CT, though, and I haven't found any reviews. Has anyone tried it?

You didn't miss the discounted stewardship. It ends tomorrow. You just need to use the code of SSDEAL.

Lot18 is running some free shipping deals on their Oregon wine selections tonight only. They've got an expensive pair from Expression up amongst others.

Pine Ridge makes some great cabs, and 2007 is a great vintage, so this is tempting especially since you can buy just one bottle which is a bit unusual for RLL.

The Stag's Leap Cab seems like the best deal and best bet as far as a wine to cellar goes.

I used the last of my credits to get a couple bottles of the Dunham too. I had been telling myself for awhile that I would wait until something from Walla Walla came along and it has. Had to stick to my guns.

It would appear that this is their new focus. The problem is that it seems their prices aren't actually all that spectacular compared to market value most of the time. At least they weren't when I was buying from them with the vouchers. I haven't purchased anything since.

I know what you mean about the prices. That seems to hold true for the non-wine items as well.

In any case, I just bit on the two that Richard mentioned, the Dunham and the Amethyst, using the last of my credits in the process, so I suppose I'll watch from the sidelines for a while.

And I am not sure how to read into this, but I received an email from Lot 18 yesterday reminding me of the value in credits I had sitting in my account, along with the recommendation to use them on an offering. I wonder if they are trying to clear their books of all vouchers so they can begin to lower their prices in order to see how they might compete against WTSO, Last Bottle, Invino, etc.??? Obviously if they have a ton of outstanding vouchers, it would not behoove them to start dropping their prices to the levels that you see on those other sites.

I got the same email. But I'm currently holding onto my last $30 in search of something that actually really appeals to me. I'll probably end up waiting for some decent non-wine item since I have so much in the way of wine. I really debated about the Schott-Zweisel Bordeaux wine glass set awhile back, and probably should have gotten it. Maybe something similar will show up again.

I just had an exchange with a customer service rep from Lot 18 while arranging to delay a purchases shipment until October. I asked him when more voucher deals, via group buys sites, would be available because their legion of fans were counting on them. He replied, "We are always working to create new venues for promotion and I am sure we will be rolling out something new soon." So, file that under "For whatever it's worth".

I bought a Dunham as well with credits, sounds like a lovely wine, alc under 14%, and the bottle is beautiful as well. I'll hold for a while for a special occassion. . .

Have you had the Amethyst? Sounds interesting, I don't know anything about it.

Just returned from a road trip with stops in Walla Walla and the Willamette Valley. Our favorites were L'Ecole No 41 and Dunham in Walla Walla, and Erath, Daedalus and Sineann in the Willamette Valley. Interestingly, though, we preferred the Walla Walla wines overall to the Willamette Valley. We have a case and a half waiting for cooler weather to ship, and we can't wait to open some of them!

Some of the deals were going by faster than I could look up what I could on them and decide if I wanted to try, but I did get in on two. Since I never had them before, I just got 4 bottles of each and both orders have actually arrived already:

4 x Koo Loo Loo Vineyards

Lot18 has posted a letter from their founder with information on hot weather shipping: http://blog.lot18.com/post/8382123508/most-dont-like-it-hot.

From this point forward you can choose to delay any shipment until the weather improves. Glad to know they're listening!

It's always been that way with them. They blame it on the NY politicians, even though other retailers with a similar marketing scheme are able to ship here. My strategy is to email the winery directly, telling them I'd like to take advantage of the offer, but can't get it shipped. Sometimes the outcome is that they'll match the offer, including the shipping. Once, the winery rep actually noticed my lament on here, and posted an offer to match the WineSpies deal. They really want to move the wine when they hook up with one of these sites, so that's no big surprise.

I was going to go in with someone else, but it fell through late, and I ended up not getting any. I wish you'd seen the post earlier. I guess I'll just keep my 2004's and hope another great deal (woot!) shows up.

Another rpm tour stop wine available now is Iron Horse 2009 Chardonnay on WineShopper (invite link) for $20. Even though it got a 92 from WE, I won't be going in on it since I'm not much of a white drinker.
