Interesting to see both options on the same day. I guess on the plus side you can get free shipping if you go in for 4 on Lot18 vs $5 shipping on Woot. I don't think this is enticing enough to make me use my vouchers, but it's nice to see Lot18 have some cheaper options.

PS - anyone tried or know anything about the Quixote PS trio?

bdlsmoran wrote:Actual wine question -- with my credits I will have $85.00 to spend should I get the 2004 Du Nah Montre or 2008 & 2009 Brian Arden Zinfandel, 4 bottles of each?
I like Zin and the Du Nah sounds interesting.
Thoughts??
Tough call since there is so little info out there on both wines. I went with the Du Nah myself just because the blend is a little odd, and I've got a lot of pure varietals in my cellar, so I'm more interested in interesting blends at the moment.
You might just hold out till the weekend to see if they put up a free shipping deal so you can get two of each.

richardhod wrote:Thank you for posting this peeps. Now I can justify buying that damn Quixote, to try a truly good PS in an American style. Unless someone thinks something else up is even better value.
If you can get a free Lot18 voucher, I think the Quixote is a really nice buy. I might do that myself if the voucher goes through in time.
Otherwise, the 2005 is available for around $40 a bottle, so the Lot18 vertical non-voucher price isn't that exciting especially considering you'd probably want to cellar the other ones for a few years. Wine-searcher shows a website with the 2003 in stock for around $35 which could be interesting to drink right now.

Wow....Vincent Arroyo 2005 Petit Sirah fpr $15 at WTSO, went in for a case. This is less than half the price of the discount $32 he offered mailing list members a few months ago. Low alcohol, but drinking great now.
