Buy it. I generally see it for $15-20 a bottle. Around $22 or something at the winery.

I wasn't talking to you! :p
And the only reason I didn't get any is because I'm in the wine club.

Just got my first order from let's pour and it looks like they sent me one more bottle than I ordered. Checking to see my bank account charges but looks like they charged what I thought. Interesting.... I guess I should tell customer service.

They should roll out a surprise bottle program it felt like Christmas.

They sent you my bottle.

Got my second order which was also cooked. The guy I spoke to (check the previous page towards the bottom) is already holding all three replacement orders for me.

Actually thougt that when I opened it. Lucky I live in MN so no threat of corking when it was in the 30's here this morning, plus I think wine takes a nice northerly route to get here, been lucky all summer.

Cameron Hughes has an interesting deal today on their Lot 219 Monte Rosso single vineyard 2009 Sonoma Zinfandel. It's normally $16 a bottle, but they are running a coupon that is 25% off and free shipping on 12 bottles (normally requires 24 for free shipping).

Make sure you enter the coupon code FBMONDAYS into your cart on the left hand side of the page.

did anyone else get a free $20 from Lot18 today?

I have two accounts- this 'anonymous' username for commenting, as well as a 'purchasing' account which is my real name. Apologies for the white box on the left.

Also, in the interest of full disclosure- I'm ITB, selling wine for a living. None of my wines have ever been featured on Woot though, so don't fear the shilling.

I sure did. Thanks for prompting me to go and login! No explanation for it, but I see that it expires quickly. From my Credit page:
$20.00 Expires in 4 days

I'll be sure to use it (hopefully they'll have a free shipping sale this week).

Based on the email, it seems that people that have contacted them with questions or feedback got the credit.

I was going through the list of wines included in the bevmo 5 cent sale. Two wines stood out to me. Has anyone tried any of these wines? They scored high from raters other than Wilfred Wong.

Garagiste has:

2007 Kent Rasmussen Pinot Noir Carneros (Napa) - $22.80 along with a nice writeup

Woot had the 2006 for 3 bottles at $70 back on 3/26/09, so essentially the same price, different vintage.

Anyone have any comments on the '07?

Dang, that's a good price. I have a bottle of the '07 that I got last October for $35 from VinoFina. I haven't tried it yet, but if I weren't trying to cut back on my purchases, I'd probably get some more of it.

Yeah, I'm strongly considering getting more of the KR at that price. It's good juice. Not sure how much the shipping will kill the deal though. Maybe I should call Kent and ask for the same price direct from him
