I wonder how this compares with the Amano Chocolate?

Is evaporated cane juice the same as sugar?

We'll if it is anything like chocolate from coastal region of Todasana, Venezuela, then excellent.

this jerky looks disgusting...

Cocoa liquor, evaporated cane juice, cocoa butter, whole bean vanilla and soy lecithin.

actually not shabby. the lecithin is meh... but natty vanilla is awesome.

im in for one... $3 per bar is fair. plus each bar has 24% of my dietary fiber. i cant wait to The Strangers (2008) my pants!!!

Amano would probably blow it out of the water.

This is very tempting, any one have had anything similiar?

vinithehat

quality posts: 23 Private Messages vinithehat

btw folks, the fiber is likely 2.4% and lecithin is a natural emulsifier. it keeps fats from seperating from non-fats.

Catbertthegreat

For folks wondering why their is Soy Lecithin in the chocolate bar.

Soy Lecithin acts as an emulsifier and a lubricant for the machinery that mixes all the ingredients in the chocolate bar.

Woot changed its launch logo. I am sad.

Popehat has been retired for a new glitzy model. We should all mourn this turn of events.
This is bringing flashbacks of my ex.

Woot. You know not what you have done.

117 woots and counting, since 2007. Don't ban me, bro!

This looks really good. Too bad it isn't kosher. I might get it as a treat for my friends at woot! Like @prettywootprincess.

Normally I'd expect Monday's rats to have gotten a bar, but Monday doesn't seem to have had any rats - what gives? This looks intriguing, but I'm not sure if I want 10 bars of a total unknown.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration defines evaporated cane juice as any sweetener derived from sugar cane syrup,[2] and therefore it might be heavily processed.

its a concentrate of cane juice - vs pure crystalline sucrose.

I hope this is not like the carp they sell in Whole Foods.

Two ounces if the info under "Product" at the top of the page is correct.

Almost impossible to find chocolate like this without soy lecithin used as an emulsifier. These look good, but that is a whole lot of chocolate from one place. Our chocolate box has at most 2 of the same bar of the stuff we already really enjoy.

I like to talk about wine, but I'd rather drink it.

The carp they sell at Whole Foods always has a too-fishy flavor for me.
