If you have a PN that's bacony, it's been blended with Syrah. Pure PN does not have meaty components.

No, Syrah is definitely bacony. The first wine I got the AHA BACON moment in was the Saxon Brown Syrah Rose, which, IIRC, is 100% Syrah.

We had this wine tonight. Recommended by Loweeel and Cesare. Very good.

The label on the back concerned us a little. The clusters are "rigorously grated, handpiked ...". (Their spelling.) They abuse the poor grapes and still make a wonderful wine.

Can't be Roshambo, they are by Sonoma. Nowhere near Clarksburg.

But Roshambo isn't Clarksburg area. They are in Healdsburg in Sonoma. And the back label says Clarksburg. Which I believe means the Winery has to be in or around Clarksburg.

Also, LangeTwins is in Acampo, in the Lodi appellation. Not sure how close Acampo would be considered to Clarksburg, but they are a recent Woot offer.

You mean the protagonist has a hang up about something and instead of resolving the issue the author drags it out over 349 books?
