I don't know about the '04 cab. Don't miss the field blend -- world's best QPR. The PS is also PSpectacular, but needs a few more years. The Tytanium is a steal at that price. Malbec... couldn't tell whether it needed more age or just isn't great. Don't remember much about the Syrah.

I agree wholeheartedly with Loweel - the Field Blend is one of the best QPR in my humble opinion. I ended up buying 2 tytaniums and 8 field blends...I also have a tytanium that is signed and won't be consumed any time soon!

That deal is too good to pass up - yum!

I liked that '04 Cab a year ago, but it needed more bottle age. It was a real hit at the Sonoma competition. I was able to get it at original offer price of $27, minus a wine club discount. So I have a couple in the cellar.

WV69, I'll chime in on the great QPR of the Field Blend. At this price, I can't afford not to lay in a few bottles. SmartHeart and I are putting together an order - why not PM him to see if we can all join forces. Between the three of us, we might be able to put together a multi-case order.

Thanks for the lead on TC. I have been wanting to try Ty's wines since I've joined WW. He has such a large fan club at WW that it definitely worth trying. I jumped in on 4 field blends, 1 merlot (unusual blend) & 1 syrah.

I believe L's purpose for starting this thread was for people posting specific sales or specials, most of which would have an expiration date or special coupon code or something. The thread should not be for posting general links to other sites for buying wine, IMHO.

Filed Blend and Merlot I heartily recommend. The Malbec, too.

Lots of folks around here also swear by TyTanium. I think all of his are well received by this crowd, but some of his really stand out.

I really liked the malbec though it definitely needs time. I got a bottle of that and a bottle of the '04 Cab (signed) when we were out there in July. And I love the Field Blend. But I am working hard at not buying more wine.

I bought the Napa Cab last week when it was the only 50% off wine and had it on Thanksgiving, it was excellent - smooth and flavorful with a nice finish. Tytanium is in my top 10 favorite wines. I would love to see it on Wine.Woot at less than $37.50!

Thanks for the input. I added the Syrah because I can never get enough of that varietal. The merlot is such a unique blend and field blends are just plain fun. I am looking foorward to receiving these wines.

Yeah, no kidding, but there is an added discount if you buy a full case and another one on top of that if you're a club member.

For anyone interested in giving it a try, I would highly recommed their chardonnay. It's not oaky, buttery, or "flabby." It's fruity and clean, with a little minerality that makes you want to go back for another sip. My dad, who is a total wine snob and very difficult to impress with any of my wine selections, absolutely loved it and asked where he could get it. AFAIK, you can only get it online or direct from the winery.

I took that stance myself and just ordered a few (with Sparky) of the ones I figured won't be on future w.w offerings and that I hadn't tried yet. Like the Malbec and the PS and the Syrah (although I did taste the PS during the RPM tour). Plus I still have a decent supply of the other wines for now.
