Scott, I do believe you are becoming as addicted to wine.woot as the rest of us. The only difference is you can raid the home stash!

Never wooting again. I've learned my lesson about inferior customer service and employees that illegally modify your signature (18 U.S.C. § 1029). Grow up, woot. (Edit of Mod edit: I am telling the truth about you modifying my signature to slander me. I am not attacking people. You dont qualify as "people" until you call me back and I hear a voice on the phone, then we can discuss how your employees are harassing me.) Still no response Since December 2010.

Speaking of the differences in vintages, I wonder if anyone has any clue as to the 2006 vintages? Obviously, I have some 2006's now with the Wellington's, but those are recent release. Any idea as to the general consensus about California Cabs from that year?
Edit: Obviously my 2006 Wellingtons aren't Cab, I don't know what I was smoking. But I am still curious as to the general feeling of winemakers out there about the 2006's.
Not too many to count, but dang. This place has a way of building a cellar for you.

Would people share with me their favorite wine sites? Whether its ones to purchase or ones to show off my "cellar", any links would be appreciated.
Thanks woot! community.
www.cellartracker.com is a GREAT resource for managing your own cellar, seeing reviews, how much other people paid, seeing other people's cellars, etc.
one thing i love, is if i see, for example, corrado gave a great review to something i also love, then i lurk around his cellar and see what other wines i might think about purchasing. its an amazing resource.

I went in for 3 yesterday. Of note... my first w.w completed entirely on my iPhone... while sitting at traffic lights on my way to work no less.

Hell yeah!!! It's at least an inchoate cellar.

A near-lurker gets labrat. Can someone check the bylaws and make sure this is allowed?

jen is cool - it's not only quantity that matters, there's quality as well.

I was entirely joking, BTW. I am looking forward to your report. Maybe you can attempt a guess as to what you think the cellar-life may be?

I'm no good for guessing the cellaring time for a wine, the longest they ever last is 2 years, and thats if I lose them under some other wines;) However, Little Vineyards site does say that the wine should continue to evolve beautifully in the bottle up to 10 years. http://www.littlevineyards.com/new_releases_04cab.html Hopefully that helps all those who always want to know how long they can cellar the wines for!
OH! NICE!!! Ten years it is.
