Scott Harvey InZINerator - Three Pack

product:

Condition = White?

According to their website, this would be the 2004 Vintage; CT link to that wine above.

I am astonished that this is only 13.5% alcohol.

I'll repeat that question. White? I don't think so.

So before I go and add this to CellarTracker, can someone confirm if these are NV offerings?

Nope. Wine is delish. And I would be in if only:

1) I had room in the wine cellars
2) I hadn't already bought a set
3) I hadn't already joined his wine club
4) if I had room in any of my wine cellars........

And the week is still young .... maybe if I drink fast ........

Site says 2003, dunno if this is the same vintage, but the line appears to carry a vintage label.

I don't think so. The ones I bought direct were 2004.

Edit: And while they are Scott Harvey, they are under the Superhero label of his:

I'm interested in the details of the Non-Vintage status of this wine. Is this something that you plan on making every year, with new labels each year? Or is this a one-time thing, with a much smaller potential circulation? I am not interested so much for the idea of collecting these bottles, but they sure do look killer. Barbera is also a grape that I haven't had before, and so these are quite tempting. Maybe I'll have to open up one of the Wellington Zins from two weeks ago, and decide if I really want to have more Zin sitting around. The price is right, esp if one was to get two. Even w/o, the bottles are fairly reasonable.

And BTW, I wanted to thank Peter for the Mystery Wine Challenge. Suffice it to say that I wait with baited breath to find out which wine the orange dot contains within it's restrictive glass bottle, and I will be buying more of them unless something real strange happens.

Heh, it has the MM "First Sucker" Seal of Approval. Not that that is so uncommon these recent days, just a funny thing to note.

Not too many to count, but dang. This place has a way of building a cellar for you.

Found the answer. 2004 according to the website. Not sure why that isn't reflected on the main page.

I never do this; however I loved the last Scott Harvey offering so much and regretted not ordering as much as possible...so, in for 3! As much as I'd LOVE to Labrat this, I'll be out of town, so WD, please don't pick me this week.

The 2003 was a different blend and had a different release date. This looks to be the 2004 (as you've probably figured out by reading the 17 other comments saying that).

I fear that I am going to have to be in for one. Not only because I love Zin and because of the winery, but because the bottles are soooo damn cool. Seriously. I cannot afford this. I will sleep on it so I can pretend to think about it.

Unless shipping to CA is less than $2 and there is no tax, this looks like a great deal for us CA wooters too.

OK....no point in the pretense of my resisting temptation....in for....a bunch....and maybe my long-lost identical twin brother will be in for more later in the week after "we" are further educated about the wine.

Love Zin....and love Scott's other offerings that I've wooted.

Wish the previous version (2003 ?) were also available as a special Woot side deal at a good price and low shipping !

Ok kids...this might be my 1st purchase on woot. My only reservation is that I don't like a lot of reds...I do like most Cabs, Pinot Noirs, ans a couple of Zins...I haven't foun a Merlot I like though....so with yalls professional opinions with that little info about my tastes, is it something I might like? Although I guess if I don't like it, Eric just inherited 3 bottles, llo

So I bought all the appliances for the new place yesterday, so I really shouldn't go in on this one, so what do I do? In for 3. It would be easier to say no if it weren't Zin.

Try it. This comes from a respected winemaker who is active on the forums here, is at a relatively low price point compared to many of the wines that appear on w.w, and on the off chance that you really hate the wine, the epicness of the label art alone would probably make this a great gift for someone you know.
