Who's in to go forward with this.
I'm closer to Detroit than Cleveland area, but would love to give it a go again.
I've cross posted to a new Ohio thread as to not kidnap the main thread. ;)
EDIT: Fixed the link ... I hope.

So the question is, do I get three? The mystery wine is intriguing. I doubt they peeled the labels off other bottles and put new ones on so I'm guessing this is a very small lot of whatever wine it is. Perhaps we are to be guinea pigs for a new blend SB has kicking around in his head. Or maybe he had some really good juice from something he typically uses as a mixer so decided to bottle it and sell it here since there wouldn't be enough for mass consumption. If that's the case I've got a theory as to what it is and just based on the assumption there is a one in a thousand chance I'm right, I'm in for three. Now I just gotta call my boss at my other job and see if he has any hours open

New to this forum but not to the Woot. I was trying to avoid temptations during the hot shipping period, but this looks difficult to pass up. So, trying to disuade myself. I understand the attraction of the Cab, but the Merlot seems more of an unknown entity. And comments on CellarTracker seems pretty ambivalent on the Zin. Any views on those two?
I can certainly see you know your wine. Most of the guests who stay here wouldn’t know the difference between Bordeaux and Claret.

No one can say, as I'm sure you've read ad nausem by now. I will say this though, if you're new to wine, these will be very representative of the grapes used. SB believes in letting the grapes speak and creating balanced wines. What this means to you is they're not going to be fruit bombs, not over oaked, not overly hot. Because they're well balanced, these wines will give your developing pallete a feel for the actual grapes. What they really taste like. Then, as you buy other brands of the same varietals you'll be able to explore the different things winemakers do to make the grapes speak a certain way. So, while I cannot say you'll like these, I can say you will learn from them. And that's even better.

So, assuming the Mystery Wine is priced the same as the others* how good IS this deal?
Click the link for deal info and CT prices.
* Once the mystery wine is known, prices on the spreadsheet will be update. We already have been told that the price won't be less that the others, so any changes will just make it an even better deal. Bookmark the link to check it later for CT prices.
It looks like even if you threw the mystery bottle in at 0 dollars, we'd still be getting a pretty decent deal on just the three once shipping is factored in. So basically, we're some lucky mofos

Boy you're optimistic. I'd be surprised to see this go past 6 Woot time.

I may end up there for ordering three. I'm getting the wines out before she can get half though. Plus really, three months of marriage is enough right?

I dont' like Merlot very much, kinda eh to me. I really like the Merlot Peter makes, so if you like Merlot, this is very good; if you don't like Merlot, there's a good chance you'll like this one. There's a 100% chance one of our resident grammarians is going to need to gouge out their eyes after seeing my sentence structure. I dunno if that helps.

I doubt I'll be disappointed!
How did Wine Woot find me and what have they done with my wallet?
