$59 on the web site, almost a BOGO (probably is if you include shipping).

I will be back online tomorrow morning at 8:00am pst for 30 minutes as well to answer any further questions. Fire away....
Since I don't see too many questions, I'll start - what's the best drinking window?
I'm just hanging out, really.

ive noticed a pattern where WW offers an expensive bottling that is likely to have little traction before unleashing the credit card-draining beast known as a woot off. pure speculation but I can feel it.

¡MONDAY MORNING LIVE TASTING NOTES!
...I'm trying NOT to get in the habit of tasting wine before 11AM on a Monday, for reasons I think do not need explaining...
However, for the benefit of the boards I will take the sword this Monday morning...
Pulled the cork about 45 minutes ago. Poured a healthy taste into the cleanest Pinot glass I could find here at the WCC offices...
The wine is a nice healthy color somewhere between ruby and garnet...
...on the nose, aromas of sweet, bing cherries and red raspberries are framed by a bed of sweet baking spices. On the palate, flavors of those same fresh cherries and berries reveal themselves in an elegant and effortless manner; a hint of oak; a detectable balance and a gentle finish (a great mouthfeel too). The word CRAFTED comes to mind; from the color to the nose to the palate- this wine is carefully and masterfully crafted. A special bottle.
I just forced myself to pour the rest of the glass out and get back to work. This may be a long week.....

I've yet to try a bottle, based on the reviews it looks like it needs to bake a while.
This '09 is definitely young. If you don't need to open it before 11 on a Monday AM, it could certainly lay down for a spell.

Tasting Notes Epilogue: As the day wore on, some others in the office wandered past my desk and decided to have a taste. Sil: "Elegant; wonderful!" Operations: "Did you want any more of this?" WineDavid: "Were you going to take this home?" Me (careful not to ruffle the bosses feathers..)" "umm... I don't know.... ummm..." Then, noticing that bottle is empty, "Umm, no, I don't think so..."
end of story...
Not my place to stand up on soap box and speak too loudly, that's for the winemakers. But suffice it to say, this is truly a Black-Tie-Buy. Those Wooters that picked this up are in for a real treat.
Thanks Chris for stopping by and for making your '09 Pinot Noir available.
