If you're even remotely into Mosel riesling, head over to Last Bottle for this Van Hovel - a steal. A huge mouthful of acidity and slate with enough RS to balance it beautifully.

Looks like Last Bottle is the fumble finger factory today

They offered up Provenance 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Rutherford, and in their ad copy is said it was $22/bottle, but the checkout price was actually $39/bottle. Then they changed the ad copy to match the $39 price, then the price dropped to $29.

The $29 price is tempting, but six bottles for free shipping isn't.

Meanwhile over on Let's Pour, there's an intriguing offer on a Cab/Syrah/Cab Franc blend from Washington called Sandra. I just finished reading an extensive article chronicling the winemaker's life story, and it's really interesting. The wine get's 90's from everyone on Cellartracker. For 20 or 25 bucks, depending on whether you have any credits to use, it looks like a good deal. Anyone know anything about that one? It's the '06 vintage.

I went in on the 2005 Raimat 'Viña 32' Cabernet Case, and opened a bottle last night. All I can say is wow, really great wine. Thanks for your input, I'm so glad I have 11 more.

The nearest Costco was out of the Kirkland 10 year Tawny, but I found another location ~25 miles away that still had 20 bottles, so I picked up a couple @ $16.99. The local one also has the Graham's @ $15.99 and the Fonseca Bin 27 @ $12.99 I've got squirreled away. The Six Grapes is pretty simple but serviceable. Haven't yet popped the others, but plan to with the tawny to answer an earlier question. Wish they'd put in something a bit more upscale like they do with a few wines.

DANG, I wish my Costco had your prices! Out here all of the Wine and package stores have high prices. Usually it is better to find a couple friends, order online and split the cost of shipping.

Yeah I wish my Costco had those prices. It's basically like I'm being charges for shipping here in Ohio. We have the Kirkland 10 year @ 21.99 and the Fonseca which I think is at least 19.99 here. Not sure about the Graham's.

Aren't Ohio minimum wine prices still set by the state? Last time I went to visit my mom in Ohio, I noticed that "two buck chuck" was something like $3.59 there.

I found the 2008 Brampton Shiraz $144/case including tax locally. The 08 cab was $13 online. The cab has a lighter body with more pepper. Classic shiraz.

nice find. As WD does RueLaLa's wine, you'll find out which he thinks are the highest wuality wines! Usually not quite as god a deal as woot, but sometimes better, as with the wonderful MAcrostie offering about 12 months ago!

The Cab is really the only thing on Rue la la thing struck my fancy, however the woot off that is going on is taking my money

I kind of like the new RLL setup where they offer single bottles instead of just packs. When you combine this with the 30 day shipping for one shipping price, it gives you a chance to pickup a single bottle shipped on the cheap.

I still had one day left of shipping on my last RLL purchase, so I picked up one bottle of the 2008 Michel Schlumberger Dry Creek Valley Maison Rouge Red Wine for $15.90 shipped. Can't complain.
