Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Actually, my wife & I will be going to our daughter's basketball game tonight. Which, in our opinion, is much better than going out to any restaurant.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

We went to our favorite restaurant yesterday. It may or may not have had anything to do with Valentine's Day.

Ordering sushi in tonight. Will enjoy it with some sake and then finish the night with some Port and salted caramels. A woot-tastic V-day.

HAK and I went to a fantastic restaurant for our Valentine's dinner on the 4th. I think it was the first time I actually experienced melt-in-your-mouth steak. And we had a bottle of Tedeschi Amarone with our dinner. He had the melty filet, I had exquisite lamb chops... Just incredible.

TONIGHT, however, I will be joining all the other losers in the gym Maybe. Maybe I'll just go home and have a venison steak.

As I just posted on the "which wine for V-Day?" thread...

I do believe we'll be savoring a bottle of '05 Wellington Victory Reserve with dinner at home tonight.

Planning on grilled lobster tail, porterhouse steak, and oven-roasted potatoes with broccolini and other veggies.

Geographically separated, so had the big dinner out (very nice seafood by the Chattahoochie River) on Saturday. Tonight will be salted dark chocolate pecan and carmel clusters with some Meeker vino.

Is this written in Engrish or did you hire some Eastern Europeans recently?

Nah, they just had a little (or a lot) port before they typed it up.

Beth surprised me with a bottle of https://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=723020 to pair with a trio of Sweet Maine Shrimp (crudo, bisque, risotto).
We won valentines.

Also, in the interest of full disclosure- I'm ITB, selling wine for a living. None of my wines have ever been featured on Woot though, so don't fear the shilling.
