hey Conroo, this is evanssm1's fiancee (Heather)from the Dayton tasting that we hosted. We would love to do another wine tasting just keep us informed of the details. We will keep our schedule open during that time. Cheers!

Edit: I spoke with my fiance about it and he said that we could host again if need be. Not sure what you or Scott has in mind but we would like to put that on the table since we know how long it can take to get these things together. Thanks for getting the ball rolling and let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Hi Heather! You sure are gracious hosts! I had a great time at OWWT#2.

I have a feeling that Scott would want to meet near one of the venues he is already attending. Columbus, Toledo or Port Clinton. Then, again, his wife's family is from Cleveland.

That's why I threw it out there. If we can't make it work, I'm always ready for another trip to Dayton!

If it's in Columbus, I'm in +1... but I'm so bad at remembering to check this that someone should probably PM me if it happens =x

awwwww... attended #2 and this sounds fun, but unless it's actually on the 12th as well as on the western side of the state, we wouldn't be able to make it... *sigh*

Looks like my openings are all in Columbus. I have Saturday the 5th or Sunday the 6th open for Lunch early afternoon and all day Monday the 7th open as long as something else does'nt get booked before I firm up with you.

My daughter lives in Lewis Center, just north of C-bus, and I know she would be thrilled to host if available (slight arm twisting going on).

I'll check with quinones4766 first, though, she lives on a farm SW of C-bus and has Llamas, yes Llamas, and was willing to step up for #3.

I dropped the big hint to my daughter, but she didn't offer up her home. So, I guess I'll have to ask point blank if I can invite a bunch of strangers into her home so that we may drink wine.

Anybody else want to host, or know of someplace we can meet?

We are still open for both Saturday and Sunday lunch and Monday all afternoon. Sunday is better, because we are doing a winemaker dinner Saturday evening at Brookside. Just let us know where to be and when. I'll brig the wine.

Actually, my last name is Boston. But I do love baked beans especially our family recipe of Boston Baked Beans.

Great news! The Greater Columbus Arts Festival is going on the same weekend as our party! You might want to stick around and check it out. I'm told there's lots of fine art, great music and wine, lots and lots of wine!

Counting down the days, and trying to come up with an idea for lunch.

That should be fine. I am sure the cheese, fruit and crackers will go well with the wines that Scott will share.

I'm second-guessing the salmon. It may limit the wines. I was just thinking I might use my woot cedar planks, that's all.

I found a recipe for planked brie that sounds delicious.

And probably ka bobs, or something like that.

Or maybe grilled flank steak and garganzola on greens ... Along with crackers, of course.

We had so much Fun today! Thank you again to Conroo and your Daughter for hosting. I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful lunch! We got on the highway and realized we forgot the Olive Oil and balsamic sauce that Evanssm1 liked. What brand was it?

Scott it was such a treat to talk to you. We really enjoyed hearing the stories behind all the wines and we await our shipment. Thank you for making time for our little woot party!
