how long will these last - couple years anyway? we have way too much rose (and whites) on hand vs. consumption and would be worried that we won't get to all of them in time.

Accordingly, any South Floridians (read: Fort Lauderdale) interested in spitting an order??

SB, hopefully you'll be chiming in.

How would you compare your 2008/2007 vintages of this wine?

Love the name, and since summer is officially over and I'm not in a picnic mode, I'm sure they'll have no problem waiting 6+ months until next summer to reveal their spendor.

Looks like a screw-cap as well. Just wondering the reason, cost, convenience, something else?

Yay, more Wellington! It's been too long.

Now, do you think we can hope for another (red) offering after this one sells out?

Where's the freaking text message? What if I'd missed it.

This looks like a great fall sipper.

Is this a sweeter wine?

wkdpanda

This is a nice summery type wine. I had at the tasting room, and we discussed that I don't think this had shown up as a Woot before.

Nice QPR!

I am not supposed to be buying wine! In for 2. Can't pass up a Wellington, even if the husband ends up angry with me...

No, this will be a drier wine...

$14 per bottle on the Wellington site.
Description on that site is:
New Release!
Available for the first time online, our 2nd release of a Dry Rose has everyone excited for the warmer months ahead! It's a blend of ZIn, Syrah and Grenache, and will pair perfectly with BBQ, Thai and Indian cuisine. One of our club members loved to serve our Le Pique-Nique with Jambalaya last year. It is a fantastic value at only $14.

Sweet! I was afraid I would not be able to use my Woot Birthday code, because not much has come on that interested me or that I could afford! It is three years since my first Woot! I feel so old.

In for one. Never been disappointed with Wellington, and I had my first (full bottle of) Rosé a week ago and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. And that was probably inferior to the one offered here. A really nice change from the usual reds and whites.

As others have stated, this will not be a sweeter wine. However, based on the description and my knowledge of other Wellington wines, it will have aromatics of sweetness. If you could can find a neighbor to share with, I am sure it will be worth trying a bottle or two for yourself.

Me 2!

Anybody know anything about the acidity in this Rose? I had a Rose at a restaurant a couple of weeks ago and it is was very bland. Is that typical with Roses?

Anyone in the Denver Colorado area

Armagedon

I don't get it... Normally it says CT can't receive wine, but now it doesn't and i had just checked the laws a few days ago. (Note, this had happened once before.)

In for the max.
