Well guess no tracking number from woot, but everyone head over to the fedex site, and do what the other wooter said works just fine. My knifes should get here on Friday.

I did the FedEx find your tracking number that a previous wooter suggested and found that these shipped late last week and should be here on the 4th.

What's the deal woot? Or is this a wine.woot.com issue?

It appears as there is no tracking coming from Woot, but tracking on the fedex site as talked about earlier and it says mine should be here on friday! Still less than two weeks from when I ordered them and they have to come all the way across the country (to California), doesn't really seem all that bad in terms of timing. Anyway I await there arrival and if you haven't tried tracking in the last day or so try it again!

Just received my knives, and I am impressed so far. They are heavy and appear to be well constructed. Looking forward to cutting something up...

Yea mine too. I think it's just Woot. They have VERY poor customer service and lack communication skills...obviously.

If you read about how wine.woot works, they do not ship directly from woot. Instead wine.woot.com sends the order to the winery or distrubutor or whoever else and they are in charge of shipping. wine.woot essentially acts as a portal to whoever it is that is offering the product. Therefore any problems with delayed shipping are, most likely, not woot issues.

Go to fedex.com -> "Track" -> "Track by Reference." Leave the first field blank, put in your order number (look at the receipt) as the ref number and fill in the country and zip code.

By doing this, my order popped up. It shipped on the 28th (4 days after the order) and is due in FL this Tuesday. Hopefully some of you will find your shipping info this way, but if you don't, do not fret. Smartpost is a tricky little Mitchell, and your shipping info will be posted eventually.

Thank you for this information! I never received any tracking/shipping information from woot yet apparently it arrived yesterday and was delivered to the clubhouse at my apt complex. Time to go find out if it's true...

Woot's always been great to me. So far, I'm not liking the customer service of wine.woot...

UPDATE: Got it. Nice knife set! I just wish I would have been emailed a confirmation that it got shipped with a tracking number.

UPDATE #2: I just received a tracking number from woot. Great timing, guys. *rolls eyes*

I love woot. This is true. But shipped in 5 days is what I have always heard from them. I ordered Oct. 25th, they have finally shipped today Nov 3rd and it is estimated to get here the 9th. Also recently this keeps happening to me more and more and the service I've been receiving gets worse and worse. I don't know if this is because more people are wooting or what. Hopefully these are some damn good knives.

Is this a joke? My knives came today and the large Chief's Knife tip was bent at a 45 degree angle!! There was also a piece of tree bark lodged in its slot in the wooden block. I know they were only 25 bucks but W.T.F Woot!?

I tried calling the costumer service number on the information booklet that came with the knives and it was a completely different company! FML
Anyone have any good trick to straighten out a knife?

I got mine today, they look very solid and pretty stylish. The handle on the knife sharpener was broken when I opened the box, but apart from that everything looks good.

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce would today cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

I KNOW how they work...regardless of where they are getting their items from, they need to keep IN CONTACT with their customers about the product's status. It's funny because my knives shipped out on OCTOBER 28th!!! Awesome! But I just received my tracking number yesterday....They have NO communication sk8ills whatsoever. Woot is probably run by a bunch of Chimps.

I got my tracking number on the 3rd. Same day the knives came in. They seem like they're good quality, especially for the price.

I just received my knives and I got two carving knives and no bread knife! Called customer service number printed on the box and got a completely different company that told me they sold wine, not knives, and that they couldn't/wouldn't help me. WOOOOOOOOT where's my bread knife!

Ordered on the 23rd. Shipped on the 2nd. Received on the 4th. Not bad at all.

These knives seem to be well made and really were a great deal at 20 bucks.

Now we just need a Woot for the matching steak knives!

Got my knives yesterday and had the same broken handle. I tried to call customer service, but it was a wine company.

Well...the good news is that my knife sharpener handle wasn't broken...because the entire knife sharpener wasn't included. Email being sent to customer service now...

My knives showed up yesterday. Aside from the sharpening steel arriving with the handle broken off, I was impressed with the quality of the knives. Decent knives for a great price.

Just to mirror the last few comments - this set is a steal for $25 shipped. Nice, heavy knives with a full tang, quite sharp out of the box and the bread cutter/kitchen shears are SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Great pick up for a bachelor with 2 roommates who will without a doubt disrespect my stuff!

Well I contacted the proper company and they told me that I need to talk to woot because they are the ones who sold us the knives.

Ouch sorry to hear a bunch of people received damaged or missing products. This is not usual of woot. I just received mine today, the box of the actual knives inside of the other box was dented so I didn't have high hopes. But all of mine are in great shape and nothing is missing. I think I got a great deal on these and I don't have to be super careful with them since they were only $25.
