I know that the shipping on woot is not the most expensive, and its a flat rate no matter if its a 42" LCD or a pack of playing cards, but I think we could expect a certain amount of expediency in the processing of our order. We could at least see a tracking no. sooner.

Nothing yet. I emailed them yesterday and no reply yet. If they want to take their time to ship then they shouldn't bill you till it goes out. They probably dont even have them in stock. They probably put the item on their site, took orders then placed an order to their vendor. Its a bad way to do business and the end consumer, us are the ones that suffer.

I also bought the knives and I just checked my account and now it says I havent bought anything. I also haven't gotten an email from woot saying they've been sent or that the order has been cancelled.

Yeah and ok...take my money the day I order it...and wait 4 weeks to ship it to me...That tells me that you do not have the items in stock that you sell on your site....

Hey WOOT, i don't know if you read this, but you are starting to lose customers. YOU ARE TREATING THIS ORDER LIKE A BACK ORDER. Simply put, you need to be direct with your customers about any delays for the products they PURCHASE. If you create a HABIT of shipping products in a timely manner, it becomes YOUR duty to notify customers if there is deviation from the mean.

Meh. My first wine.woot and I get this kind of experience. I was expecting to at least have tracking within the week.

I don't know about all of you, but personally I've had a pretty bad experience with woot. My roomate has never had anything wrong with his orders, but about 33% of my orders have been oversold when I ordered them. On the bright side, this has saved me $30 on my other woots, but still is very irritating.

Has anyone had their knives ship yet? I've had woots I've purchased since this ship already. This is kind of lousy being my first wine.woot purchase. An update from the woot overlords will be appreciated.

I am with the rest of you. I needed this item for a bridal shower and obviously I am not going to get it in time. This is a first for me, all of my other woot purchases have been shipped very fast.

My knives showed up today. I really do like them. I think they do need to work on their customer service though, more comminication and not issuing information by forum. I should'nt have to read through 6 pages of forums looking for information on if things shipped or not.

Alright, I'm going to do my best to quell the impending revolt...

I was also a bit pissed to see that no shipping info had been posted, however it appears that they HAVE shipped and a quick look at the fedex website may ease all of your minds.

Go to fedex.com -> "Track" -> "Track by Reference." Leave the first field blank, put in your order number (look at the receipt) as the ref number and fill in the country and zip code.

By doing this, my order popped up. It shipped on the 28th (4 days after the order) and is due in FL this Tuesday. Hopefully some of you will find your shipping info this way, but if you don't, do not fret. Smartpost is a tricky little Mitchell, and your shipping info will be posted eventually.

Thanks for this. Scheduled delivery in 2 days from now. Not too bad I guess, although Woot notification would be nice.

Thanks for this info. Mine should be here tomorrow. Of course that doesn't really help me since in needed them for a gift today. But what can you do?

Woot always does the right thing. We'll all eventually get the knife set or, I am sure, they'll make things right. They have excellent customer service.

To be fair things sometimes take a little while to arrive. But that's the deal. $5 for shipping sometimes equals a little lead time. Get over it already.

Despite Woot not communicating, my order is on the way, estimated delivery of 1 day after the initial estimated delivery. Should arrive on the fourth.

To all who are still complaining, go to fedex.com -> track by reference, and use your order number found on receipt (reference), country, and zip code.

Mine also shipped today though I got no notice from woot. I had to use the search by reference number trick.

Mine are supposed to be here on the 6th, but like everyone else, I had to use the reference number trick. I can't complain though, 5 bucks for shipping and right around the time of the woot off, two weeks isn't bad. Standard shipping times are 7 to 10 days, so 14 with only paying 5 bucks is pretty decent methinks. Still love woot, though I would have appreciated some more communication on woots part.
