I know what you're talking about. You're just spinning and spinning. It's never happened to me with wine but it has definitely happened with a soy sauce bottle.

You want an original decanter?!
Like this:
It can be yours for only $500 (or more).
These are the only "original" decanters I can think of and they are all in the high price range. Riedel stemware is very well received though.

joelsisk wrote:Funny... we found one at a B&M in LA-area for about $175 via the internetwebz, had my parents pick it up for me... then saw the decanter at Bed Bath and Beyond and they actually price matched for about the same a few months later (so much for limited edition). BB&B said at the time that they were selling it under cost, but complied with price-match policy! But they wouldn't let us use one of their ubiquitous 20% off coupons in addition.
Ah, wedding gifts!
Damn! I was just thinking PM plus 20% coupon = steal. I bet they would have done it if you had pushed. Or maybe I'm wishfully thinking.

2 Questions:
Is today the last day that the current offering can be purchased?
If not, where can I find it say, tommorow, if it is not already sold out?

I found InZin truly sickly sweet as well as very one-dimensional. It is one of two wines I have actually poured down the drain in the past years!
I know, it's not really a fair or direct comparison, but based on that guy's statements ("I've never met a Zin I didn't like"), I just thought the bombastic fruit this wine has would probably go over pretty well based on his like for InZin. For what it's worth, I did qualify the whole shebang by saying that it's fully dry, unlike the InZin...
It is well to remember that there are five reasons for drinking: the arrival of a friend; one's present or future thirst; the excellence of the wine; or any other reason.

Have any of you seen the video where Maximilian demonstrates how to use that thing? It's ridiculous!

LABRAT ENGAGE.
"Choose your poizin."
That wasn't your report right? If it was, can you expand on, well, everything? We know how much the wine is. We don't know about the taste, tannins, flavor profile, mouth feel, alcohol heat, how did you tasted it (did you even?), other wine it's like, QPR, etc. Can you please address at least some of the above points, if not all of them?

My job requires that I wait until at least 4pm to start drinking at work.
I hope that's ok? have a great day!!!
Since your post sounded somewhat like a report, suggesting food pairings and such, a simple, "Nope. Report to come later" seems like it would have suffficed.

well stated cwholt, we call that pwnage
ole kyle needs to go get some tea and chill out
cwholt clearly stated "expect more drunken notes later." and if you can also read the time of day and put in perspective ...

I'm chilled. No worries. It just sounded kind of like a report. And the "expect more drunken notes later" was added after I had replied. This is why I prefaced with "was that your report?" So, "nope" would have solved it.
It's rough out here RPM.
