Hmm... I have a 2004 vintage of this wine in my closet now. If I remember it correctly from the tasting, it was full of mocha and coffee notes but not as unctuous and sweet as a lot of California PS are. Though that was a different vintage...

I've had many, many bottles of wine from Barra in RVC, but not since their last wine maker left to Yokayo.

They made very nice wines, especially Italian varietals. I'm sure they're still making good wine, there's some good juice coming from this area.
