Currently on the fence but mindful that we are coming up on Thanksgiving. In my opinion, Pinot Noir is the best Thanksgiving wine ever.
Ok, wine.woot and or winemaker, do what you do best - make me want it.

Pinot Noir is a notoriously versatile wine and Thanksgiving is a notoriously versatile meal, so they play beautifully together.
An earthy pinot, especially, will likely pair as well with your savory mushroom stuffing as it will with your maple glazed sweet potato gnocchi.
Damn it. That was fast. And that fall from the fence is going to leave a mark.

And would they be considered more of a drink with food or without food wine style?
I second this question and am further curious about the style. From the discussion so far this sounds like more of an old world style wine but the descriptions NedDawg posted imply some new world fruit coming through. I don't think this would be a "jammy" Pinot but a little help on where the winemaker thinks it lies on the "world", or fruit to earth, barometer would be helpful... at least to me : )
