Flingin’ The #2
Really, being the best is overrated.
Who gets their head chopped off as a symbol of the people’s discontent? The king. Who gets a stern talking-to and then a position as part of the transitory committee that ends with his appointment to a cabinet-level post? The king’s number two.
So don’t lament that the Woot Cellars Monkey Second Prize 4 pack isn’t “top dog” of the wine world. Those ripe raspberry aromas will mix nicely with the scents of cherry, and the taste of plum, toasted oak, cloves and spice really will leave you satisfied. It’s not just good enough, it’s better thank just good enough! It’s almost perfect!
Everyone knows it’s good to be #1, but you know what’s even better? Being able to pass the buck and get on with your drinking. With the Woot Cellars Monkey Second Prize 4 pack, you’ll still be able to say “that’s above my pay grade” when you need a mental health day. Let’s face it, there’s a reason there’s always room at the top.
