Three Rivers 2005 & 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon - Vertical Four Pack

3×4 – 2 = ?

Two wines, Three Rivers, four bottles. Clear enough?

Nobody wants to do math on Thanksgiving. It’s like some sort of nightmare. Five people, two pies, who cares? Just cut it and give the guy with little piece more ice cream. Everyone will understand. This time of year, no one wants to do any math.

So we’ll make it completely clear. FOUR BOTTLES OF WINE. That’s what you’ll be getting in this Three Rivers 2005-2006 Vertical Four Pack. Two different Cabernet Sauvignons, four bottles total. It’s just that simple.

And in those bottles, once they arrive? Joy! Pure joy! The first one, the 2006 Cab, comes from the Columbia Valley, where a great growing season ripened the fruit and let it mature to full deliciousness. Hand harvested, fermented, and left to age in oak barrels racked every three months, this Cab is thoughtfully blended from seven different, but equally delicious, vineyards. You’ll be enjoying the flavor of chocolate covered cherries, leading to rustic cedar with notes of spice. And when you’re finished with the first bottle, you’ll have one more of the same, patiently aging until you’re ready to try again. Two bottles of the 2006. See how easy it is?

Then, perhaps, you’ll turn to the 2005 Cab. Five different vineyards gave up this fruit, harvested in the lovely days of early October, when the cool and constant weather made for enhanced flavor development. Deep in the complexity, you’ll find a balance of ripe black cherry and cedar, concluding with a shot of espresso and a seductive finish. And, as before, you’ll have a second bottle left over when you’re done. Because you also have two bottles of the 2005. For a total of four.

We’re not being insulting. We just know you’re probably full of turkey and mashed potatoes, so we want to make it as easy for you as we can. Two bottles of the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon. Two bottles of the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon. Four bottles total. That’s the Three Rivers Four Pack. Don’t let all the numbers keep you from this great tasting wine.
